We wrote earlier today about the Raiders' likely plans on the first day of free agency, that they would most likely look in-house first before bringing in someone else.

Plus, with about $8.5 million in salary cap room, they could also look to restructure or cut a few of the bigger contracts, ones that belong to the likes of defensive tackle Tommy Kelly, receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey or quarterback Carson Palmer.

Another look, then, at the Raiders' scheduled free agents -- 10 of the 17 unrestricted free agents play on the defensive side of the ball, and nine appeared in at least seven games with five starting at least eight games-- as the new league year begins today…
