CSNCalifornia.comALAMEDA -- Raiders fans think they were puzzled with receiver Derek Hagan being inactive for Monday night's season opener at Denver?Imagine being Hagan."I don't remember the last time I was inactive," Hagan said Wednesday. "But it's just one of those things. We needed other guys. I was fine with it. I was doing what I needed to do to help this team and try to help them win the game."I was paying attention and helping the receivers out while they were out there running around."Hagan was a preseason revelation as a possession receiver for the Raiders in the exhibition season, leading the team with 12 catches for 224 yards and a touchdown. And with coach Hue Jackson saying the best way to get on the field was through production, no wonder so many were left scratching their heads at Hagan's lot in Denver. "He was down for a couple days, and when it's all said and done, I'm going to put healthy guys out there. That's just the way it is. I get to make that choice and that decision and that's what I decided to do."Yes, Hagan had a calf injury but was "full-go" in practices Thursday, Friday and Saturday and he was listed as "probable" heading into the game. Now?"It's good," Hagan said. "There really was never nothing wrong with it. I was good to go last week for Monday. I practiced all last week, and the calf's good and ready to go for Sunday (at Buffalo).
