And then there was oneRaiders third-round draft pick Tony Bergstrom has agreed to terms with the team and signed his rookie contract, according to NFL.com.The lone Raiders draft pick remaining unsigned is fifth-rounder Juron Criner, a receiver from Arizona.RELATED: Criner can't report to camp
The Raiders have not confirmed the report.Bergstrom, taken No. 95 overall out of Utah, is expected to compete with 13-year veteran Cooper Carlisle at left guard in training camp, which will see players beginning to report on Saturday. It was unknown what took so relatively long for the Raiders to sign the first draft pick of the Reggie McKenzie Era, especially with salaries basically slotted by draft positions.CAMP BATTLE: Carlisle vs. Bergstrom
Bergstrom has a first-year allotment of 516,504 with a first-year minimum allotment of 512,504 and non-guaranteed base salaries of 390,000, 480,000, 570,000 and 660,000 on his four-year contract with a maximum signing bonus of 506,016. Perhaps the hangup was about the amount of the bonus. If true, perhaps that is also the snag for Criner, who shined in OTAs and minicamp and has a first-year allotment of 426,140 with a first-year minimum allotment of 422,140 and non-guaranteed base salaries of 390,000, 480,000, 570,000 and 660,000 on his four-year contract with a maximum signing bonus of 144,560."Contract negotiations are like being pregnant," Criner's agent, Peter Schaffer, told CSNCalifornia.com earlier Friday. "Either you is, or you aint. Can't be kind of pregnant."He's not allowed to practice until he has a signed contract. So he's not allowed to report until then."
