Lechler: 'Mr. Davis offered something I wasn't turning down'

Lechler a seven time Pro Bowler and six time All-Pro punter has signed with the Houston Texans as an unrestricted free agent, according to a report by the Houston Chronicle.

The 36-year-old has been in meetings with Houston since Thursday and will be the seventh of the Raiders' 17 free agents to sign elsewhere this offseason.
One of the NFL's best punters, Lechler averaged 47.5 yards per punt with a career-long 80 yarder and played 206 games in his 13 seasons with the Raiders.
King, who has a powerful if inconsistent leg, was an undrafted rookie the Raiders held onto last season via Injured Reserve, after a preseason injury to his foot.
