Bush still limited, expected to play

ALAMEDA -- While Michael Bush was again limited in practice with a sore shoulder, Raiders coach Hue Jackson expects the running back to play Saturday at Kansas City, and to excel."Mike will be fine," Jackson said following Thursday's practice. "Mike's a warrior. He'll show up and he'll play well."He's carried the ball quite a bit. There was a stretch there where he was averaging 30 attempts a game. At some point in time that catches up to you. He hasn't carried as much the past couple of weeks. We've played some physical teams and he's been slamming that ball up in there the way you have to run the ball. He's done an excellent job. One of my jobs is to make sure I take care of him, make sure we get his body back before we play a big game."
Bush is 159 yards away from his first career 1,000-yard rushing season. In six career games against the Chiefs, Bush is averaging 82.8 rushing yards per game, 5.8 yards per carry. He has gone for a combined 236 yards on 42 carries in his last two meetings against Kansas City, including a 137-yard game on 25 carries in last season's finale at Arrowhead Stadium.Bush, though, was not gleaning anything extra from his past success against the Chiefs."Yeah, you know, I think I have been doing good against a lot of AFC teams so...this is just another week," he insisted earlier in the week. "It changes week to week, it really doesn't matter who were playing."You can't think that way, because when you do you're selling yourself short. I just prepare like it's another week for me. As long as we all do our job, it will be another big day for me."
