KANSAS CITY -- A week earlier, Sebastian Janikowski lined up from 65 yards away and saw his record- and game-winning field-goal attempt blocked by Ndamukong Suh's right thumb.This time, Janikowkski was 36 yards out, and his kick was true, giving the Raiders a 16-13 overtime victory while keeping their playoff hopes alive."It felt good, what do you want me to say?" Janikowski said with a Cheshire Cat grin.Earlier in the game, Janikowski missed from 59 yards, the ball hitting the crossbar and bounding away. It was only his fourth miss of the season, just the second time he missed on a kick that was up and away as two have been blocked.Mistakenly asked by a reporter about missing from 58 yards, Janikowski quickly corrected the journalist.
"It was 59; I didn't hit it good, but"His holder, Shane Lechler, quickly interceded."He wishes it was 59," Lechler said with a laugh."Then," Janikowski said, "it goes in."The game-winner made it easier to handle."I mean, guys did a good job protecting," he said. "Shane put it down, (Jon) Condo centered the ball and it went through."
