Raiders LS Condo added to Pro Bowl roster

It only seems fair, right?I mean, if Jon Condo wasn't such a good long snapper, where would that leave Pro Bowl kickers Shane Lechler and Sebastian Janikowski?Thursday, the Raiders' long snapper was added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster as a "need" player, making for Condo's second appearance in the NFL's all-star game in three years. As such, Condo will join teammates Lechler, making his seven appearance as a punter, Janikowski, his first-ever selection, and defensive tackle Richard Seymour, his seventh, in the Jan. 29 game at Honolulu's Aloha Stadium.Condo has been the Raiders long snapper since 2007 and has played in 80 consecutive games.
The Raiders also have four alternates waiting in the wings in strong safety Tyvon Branch, defensive tackle Tommy Kelly, running back Darren McFadden and fullback Marcel Reece. While it is unknown at what level -- first alternate, second alternate, etc -- the Raiders players are listed, a Baltimore victory in the AFC title game at New England would open up several Pro Bowl roster spots that might affect the Raiders alternates. Ed Reed is at free safety while Ray Rice is the starting running back for the AFC and Vonta Leach is the starting fullback. An interior defensive lineman spot will open as the Ravens' Haloto Ngata and the Patriots' Vince Wilfork are listed as the starters.
