Stars' Ott gets shoved by Flyers' coach

DALLASApparently, Steve Ott is capable of annoying more than just the San Jose Sharks.

After the first period of Wednesdays Stars-Flyers game in Dallas, the Stars agitator stood in the tunnel to the locker room while Flyers coach Peter Laviolette tried to get by. Ott wanted to keep Laviolette from passing while the Stars players filed off, but Laviolette shoved him out of the way.

According to CSNPhilly.coms Tim Panaccio, Ott said:

"I mean, have a little respect. They're supposed to go the other way. If the coaches use the tunnel, then they wait for the players. That's just the way it always is.

I mean, if he has to be 'that guy,' I guess he can be. But there should be a mutual respect there. I wouldn't do it to his Philadelphia Flyers team, and he shouldn't do it to ours.

Laviolette refused to comment after the game on the incident.

The Flyers won, 4-1.

Could Ott simply have been showing off for HBOs 247 cameras, which were in the building?
