Barnes: ‘We Believe' game in works

Former Warrior and current Los Angeles Laker Matt Barnessaid on Twitter that plans are in the works for a charity game to be playedbetween the 2007 We Believe Warriors and the current team.The game would take place at the San Jose Events Center onOct. 29.Because of the NBA lockout, some NBA players are organizingcharity games around the country.

I got a question, Barnes wrote on Twitter. How many of youwould like to see the 2007 Golden State Warriors take on the current Warriors?Later, he wrote: So, BD (Baron Davis), J-Rich (JasonRichardson), me, Stack Jack (Stephen Jackson) and Al Harrington vs. MontaEllis, (Stephen) Curry, (David) Lee, (Dorell) Wright, whoever else they got. The San Jose Events center holds 4,600 for basketball. Barnes also wrote on Twitter that the money generated fromthe game would go to two cancer foundations.
