OAKLANDWarriors point guard Stephen Curry is listed as day-to-day after spraining his right ankle during Tuesdays exhibition game against the Sacramento Kings.
That means his status is up in the air for Sunday nights regular-season opener against the L.A. Clippers at Oracle Arena. But Curry sounded optimistic about being in the starting lineup, particularly with three days to rest and rehab the ankle.If Curry cant go or his minutes are limited by the injury, Warriors coach Mark Jackson will turn to second-year point guard Ish Smith or rookie combo guard Charles Jenkins to pick up the slack.
