Davis says he's not involved in “We Believe” game

Apparently, Baron Davis may not be in on the charity gamebetween the We Believe Warriors of 2007 and the current Warriors team.The game is scheduled to take place at the San Jose EventsCenter on Oct. 29, and according to the games promoter hes got at least ninecommitments from former and current Warriors players.
Davis, of course, is the face of the We Believe Warriorsof 2007. But Nate Llorando, who is putting on the event, never said Davis was alock to come. Llorando said that former Warrior Matt Barnes was trying toconvince Davis to attend the event.

BARNES: 'We Believe' game in works
Late on Wednesday, Davis used his Twitter account toannounce he wasnt a part of the charity game. FYI, I have no involvement in this Bay Area game Imhearing about, Davis wrote. Ive heard my name mentioned but I am NOTinvolved. Expected to play are: Stephen Curry, Charlie Bell, DorellWright, Jeremy Lin, Jeremy Tyler, Jason Richardson, Kelenna Azubuike, AnthonyMorrow and Barnes. Morrow wasnt a member of the 2007 team, nor is he on thecurrent team, but may play along with some others to fill out rosters.

Regardless of whether Davis plays or not, Barnes hasindicated that the game will happen. Since last night, weve gotten a VERY positive responseabout this game, Barnes wrote on Twitter on Wednesday. So we will make ithappenAppreciate the support.
