Report: Curry out for Knicks game

According to a report published in USA Today, Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will miss Wednesdays game against the New York Knicks in order to rest his troublesome right ankle.Curry suffered a sprained right ankle on Dec. 20, in an exhibition game against the Sacramento Kings. He then missed three days of practice before playing in Sundays regular-season opener against the L.A. Clippers.STEINMETZ: What to do with Curry's ankle?Curry played again on Monday against the Chicago Bulls but tweaked the ankle in the fourth quarter when he came down on Kyle Korvers foot after failing to convert on fastbreak.Curry received X-rays after the game, but they were negative. By sitting out Wednesday, Curry will give the ankle four days of rest heading into Saturdays game against the Philadelphia 76ers at Oracle.
