SAN ANTONIO -- Its official: The Warriors have signed free-agent point guard Nate Robinson, according to the team. Robinsons contract is for one year at approximately 1 million.

Robinson passed his physical on Wednesday night, and the team expects him to be in Los Angeles on Thursday for practice. Robinson will be in uniform on Friday night when the Warriors take on the Lakers at the Staples Center.

Robinson played 59 games last season -- 55 for the Boston Celtics and four for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Thunder and Robinson mutually agreed to part ways before training camp began this season. He will likely challenge Charles Jenkins, Ish Smith and Klay Thompson for backcourt minutes.

Robinson is expected to wear jersey No. 2.
