The Warriors are going to be opening the 2011-2012 season at home against the Los Angeles Clippers on Christmas.
Marcus Thompson of the Contra Costa Times first reported the story, and CSNBayArea.com has confirmed the story through a league source.
According to Thompson, the Christmas night game will be the fifth and final game on the NBA schedule that night.

The Warriors announced Thursday that they will partake in a two-game preseason series with the Kings Dec. 17 and 20, in advance of their 2011-12 opener.
