A pair of San Jose Earthquakes fans have been arrested by U.S. Marshals for attacking a Portland Timbers fan in April, according to reports.

Jennifer Marques, 29, and Uriel Vargas, 21, were arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for attacking a Timbers fan in his car on April 14 in Portland, according to The Oregonian.

The pair were part of a group of San Jose fans heading to Portland's Jeld-Wen Field who approached the car of James Decker, 40, at about 5:30 p.m. that day before a game between San Jose and the Portland Timbers, according to police.

When Decker raised his "Timbers Army" scarf towards the fans and shouted, "a woman reached through the car window, yelling at him" and tried to grab his scarf, according to the newspaper.
