Much ado about nothing?Juron Criner, the Raiders' fifth-round compensatory pick out of Arizona who was taken with the 33rd pick of the round, No. 168 overall, has signed his rookie contract with the team and the receiver is elected to be in Napa today for meetings and physicals.There had been an ESPN report that the two sides had been haggling over 14,000 in signing bonus money -- Criner and his agent Peter Schaffer had wanted 158,000, or, 2,000 less than the No. 32 pick of the round had received since the previous six picks had received that reduction in bonus money, while the Raiders were sticking to the NFL Management Council-mandated bonus slotting number of 144,000.There was no word, though, on where the two sides had settled, if that was indeed the case. Instead, the Raiders can now go forward with everyone on their roster signed.Schaffer told CSNCalifornia.com earlier this week that contract negotiations "are like being pregnant. Either you is, or you aint. Can't be kind of pregnant."Criner and the Raiders, it can be said, are now expecting.
