Raiders holding auditions for new cheerleaders

Auditions and an audition prep classto become a member of Footballs Fabulous Females areset for April.The prep class to prepare candidatesfor the upcoming Raiderette auditions will be offered in Oaklandat the Ira Jinkins Recreational Center on Saturday, April7, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. with checkin beginning at 8:00 a.m. The costfor the class is 40.00 if pre-registered by March 24, 2012 or 50.00 forwalk-in registration (cash only).Fitness boot camp classes are alsobeing offered at Core Dynamics Fitness in SanLeandro. The cost is 30 per class for the final twoclasses on March 20 and 22. Check-in willbegin at 8:00 a.m., with interviews immediately following.There is no dance audition duringpreliminaries. Finalists will be announced at the endof the event.Rehearsals for the dance routine forfinalists will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 and Thursday, April 19, 2011from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The final audition will be held on April 22, 2012.Auditions and rehearsals are closed to the general public.Eligible candidates must be at least18 years old by the date of the preliminary audition, available to attend allhome games, rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-9:30 p.m.,rehearsals Saturday mornings from 7:30-10:30 a.m., special public relations,charity and performance events, and a full-day Saturday mini-camp (date and timeTBA). Eligible candidates must be able to provide authorized documents to workwithin the United States.Candidates may not cheer for both the Raiders and another professional orcollege team.Pre-registration is strongly advisedfor participation in the audition process. The advance fee to register is25.00 and the deadline is April 7, 2012.
