NAPA – Raiders head coach Dennis Allen told his players not to worry about the depth chart. Not this early, anyway.

He still had to put one out prior to Friday’s exhibition opener against the Dallas Cowboys, and it contains few surprises.

The Raiders thought highly of linebacker Sio Moore, and this depth chart proves it. The third-round pick is only rookie slated to start, although he practice reps projected that. Moore has been consistent in the early portion of camp, the finest SAM linebacker on the roster.

Rookie Tyler Wilson, a fourth-round pick considered a dark horse to start at quarterback, is the fourth signal caller. That’s not a shock, considering he rarely gets practice reps in deference to undrafted rookie Matt McGloin.

Richard Gordon leads an open competition at tight end by being the most consistent – although he’s certainly not the most dynamic – as a blocker and receiver.
