"This is an incredible opportunity for both Dennis and Jabari," said SaberCats owner/head coach Darren Arbet. "I am very happy for both of them and I wish nothing but the best for them in their time with the Cowboys."
Godfrey, 25, is a 6-foot-3, 335-pound offensive lineman from Wake Forest. He was acquired by the SaberCats during the middle of the 2013 season, starting San Jose's last three regular season games.
Fletcher (6-3, 260) played on the defensive line for the SaberCats and has played in the Arena League the past two seasons. The Appalachian State grad joined San Jose at the start of this season, and played all over the field. Fletcher, 24, was primarily a defensive lineman, but he also compiled 21 rushing attempts and was a huge contributor on special teams -- he served as the long snapper and was a regular on the kick return and coverage teams.
The Cowboys take on the Raiders tonight in Oakland at 7 p.m. PT.
