49ers kicker David Akers re-tweeted a death threat he received before disabling his account.

According to the Sacramento Bee, Akers sent out the following Tweet: RT @RIP_FreeLaddin YOU F----OT IF YOU MISS ONE MORE FIELD GOAL YOU ABOUT TO GET YOUR ENTIRE LIFE ENDED.

Akers' account, @DavidAkers2, was disabled not long after.

The veteran kicker has missed 10 of his 35 field goal attempts this season in his 14th season in the league. Last year, his first with the 49ers, Akers set an NFL record with 44 total field goals made.
