SANTA CLARA -- Receiver Braylon Edwards, who sustained a right knee sprain that limited him to the first three plays of Sunday's game, is listed as day-to-day, 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said Monday on 95.7 The Game.Baalke, speaking on his weekly radio show, also said the 49ers expect receiver Michael Crabtree to be available for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Crabtree sat out the 49ers' 27-24 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday with a left foot injury.

The 49ers were down to just three healthy receivers after three plays on Sunday when Edwards sprained his knee while catching a 21-yard pass on the first series of the game. Edwards underwent an MRI examination on Monday. He was seen entering the 49ers' team offices without crutches or a brace on his right knee."We've gotten the results," Baalke said. "He's a little nicked up and day-to-day right now."He's been seen by our docs. Our medical staff is working with him, and we'll see how he comes along and progresses as the week goes on."Baalke downplayed the need for the 49ers to add a free-agent receiver for the 53-man roster."We're always researching ways to get better," Baalke said. "But we have complete confidence in the young guys that we have. Crab should be healthy this week and ready to go. And hopefully he is."You saw yesterday (Kyle) Williams step up and do some nice things. We're always looking, but we have complete confidence in the guys who are here."
