49ers-Bills injury reports: Jacobs, Sopoaga questionable

SANTA CLARA -- Nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga, who returned to limited practice this week, remains questionable for the 49ers' game Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Sopoaga missed last week's game with left knee and ankle sprains sustained late in the Sept. 23 game against Minnesota. The 49ers figure to be in their nickel defense most of the time Sunday against the Bills. Sopoaga is replaced when the 49ers go with five defensive backs, so he probably would not see much playing time anyway.
Cornerback Carlos Rogers (ankle) and running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) are also officially listed as questionable, but both should be available.RELATED: 49ers ket matchup No. 3: Aldon Smith vs. Chris Hairston
Rogers had limited participation in practice all week, while Jacobs made it through his first full week of work. Jacobs missed the first four games of the season. It is unknown how the 49ers plan to use him.Linebacker NaVorro Bowman, who was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday, returned to full practice on Friday. The Bills will be without two starters on their offensive line: left tackle Cordy Glenn and right guard Kraig Urbik due to ankle injuries. Chad Rinehart, who is slated to replace Urbik, was added to the injury report as questionable with a calf injury.
