49ers injury report: Gore, Manningham expected to start

SANTA CLARA -- Running back Frank Gore and wide receiver Mario Manningham are expected to start Monday night against the Arizona Cardinals after each player went through a full week of practice.Gore did not miss any practice time after sustaining a ribs injury in the 49ers' game Oct. 18 against the Seattle Seahawks. Manningham returned to full practice this week after sitting out the 49ers' game against Seattle with a right shoulder injury.
Quarterback Alex Smith, who has a sprain to his right middle finger, will also start."It was a good week throwing the ball, very good this week," 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said Saturday. "I think he feels very good physically. Confident going into the game and ready to roll."Left tackle Joe Staley (illness) is listed as questionable. He is expected to be available for Monday's game.Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals will start quarterback John Skelton in place of Kevin Kolb, who will miss his second consecutive game with a ribs injury.49ERS
