SANTA CLARA -- Coach Jim Harbaugh said any concerns he had about quarterback Alex Smith's throwing hand were alleviated once he saw him throw."He says he's going good, and it's not something that's a big deal or to worry about," Harbaugh said.Smith sustained a sprain to the middle finger on his throwing hand when he braced himself after going to the ground after attempting a fourth-quarter pass against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday."It's doing all right. I think it'll be fine," Smith said Wednesday. "(I) played toss a little yesterday and a little bit today. It's one of those of things, the more you move it around and keep it going, it'll get better as the week goes on."Smith said he might have "a little tape for support" on the finger on Sunday when the 49ers face the New York Giants at Candlestick Park.
