Dashon Goldson signed his one-year, 6.212 million tender in order to report to training camp with the veterans, the team announced Thursday.
Goldson was under no obligation to sign and report to camp, but he also was unable to negotiate a multi-year deal with the 49ers -- or any other team -- until the end of the season.
