Still no play time for 49ers' top rookies

SANTA CLARA -- During Jim Harbaugh's press conference on Monday, he was asked about the lack of contributions from the 49ers' top two draft picks, receiver A.J. Jenkins and running back LaMichael James. Here's is that portion of the Q&A:Jim, you talked in July about how A.J. Jenkins is going to be outstanding. Yet, there's an injury (to Kyle Williams) and he doesn't get on the field. And Mario (Manningham) got injured yesterday and A.J. still doesn't get on the field. Why hasn't he been playing?
"Well, there's, we talk about Michael (Crabtree), Randy (Moss), Mario have all been playing at a high level. We're working toward it. He was active and he dressed for the game. And he's being integrated now into the plan."Right now, Ted Ginn was in on the three-wide receiver sets, which obviously means Ted Ginn is ahead of him on the depth chart, too?
"He has been, yes."Do you see that changing?
"Anything's possible there. That's the way it has been."The second-round pick, LaMichael, who seems to be more out of the Kendall Hunter mold than Brandon Jacobs, is there a role for LaMichael James with Kaepernick in those read options?
"Yeah, there's a possibility of that."Why wasn't that the case yesterday?
"It wasn't part of the plan yesterday. But that doesn't mean that it won't be going forward."--Harbaugh said had no update on Manningham, who left the game in the fourth quarter with a shoulder injury.--Demarcus Dobbs, a core special-teams player, is expected to be back with the team for Sunday's game against the Miami, Harbaugh said.Dobbs did not travel with the 49ers to St. Louis after he was arrested early Friday morning, on his 25th birthday, for marijuana possession and suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Harbaugh said the team would keep any further discipline internal. Here is the amount of play time from each 49ers player on offense, defense and special teams (Jenkins and Alex Smith were the only players on the 46-man active list who did not play):
