Angel Pagan remains hitless in rehab

Angel Pagan continued on his road back to the Giants on Saturday night.

The Giants center fielder played five innings for the Giants' Arizona Rookie League team as they faced the Dodgers' AZL counterpart.

Batting leadoff, Pagan drew a walk and advanced to third base on a double by 2013 First Round pick shortstop Christian Arroyo. Pagan scored on a single by first baseman Craig Massoni.

Pagan came up for his second at-bat in the third inning and flew out to center field.

In his final at-bat in the fourth inning, Pagan grounded out to shortstop. He was replaced on defense in the top of the sixth inning.

Pagan is 0-for-3 with two walks in two rehab games with the AZL Giants.

As for Arroyo, he finished 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, three runs scored and one RBI and raised his AZL batting average to .309 (47-for-152) in 37 games
