MIAMI – Disabled outfielder Angel Pagan had no issues in two rehab games for the Giants’ affiliate in the Arizona Rookie League and he’ll report to Triple-A Fresno within a few days, Giants manager Bruce Bochy said.

Pagan played four innings on Friday and five on Saturday. He was 0 for 3 with two walks and a run scored, and got “a fair amount of action” in center field, Bochy said. Pagan continues to report no issues with his left hamstring tendon behind his knee, which he had surgery to repair at the end of June.

Bochy wasn’t sure when Pagan would begin playing for the Grizzlies. But the Giants are still looking at activating him no earlier than Sept. 1, when rosters expand.
