The talk of the town in San Francisco Friday night will be Buster Posey's extension he signed with the Giants. Here are some eye-opening stats about Posey's short three-year career you can use to dominate the bar scene conversation.

Posey's new deal is the longest ever for a catcher, and worth the second-most money for a catcher after Joe Mauer's $184 million, eight-year deal with the Twins. It's also the most money ever guaranteed to a player with fewer than three years of service time. Before Posey, the most money guaranteed a player with under 3 years service time was $80m to Carlos Gonzalez.
