After clearing waivers Monday, Bartolo Colon is reportedly drawing interest from playoff-hopeful teams, according to Andy Martino of the New York Daily News.
Both the Los Angeles Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers are two of the teams identified by Martino as teams to be most engaged with interest in Colon.
"The Angels will be all over him," according to Martino's source who is an American League executive. "They don't have many prospects, but I believe the Mets want to clear the money."
Colon is owed the remaining portion of his $9 million salary this year while under contract for another $11 million in 2015.
