Dodgers' Ellis to undergo knee surgery Tuesday

Rough news for the Dodgers this evening, as the team has announced that catcher A.J. Ellis will undergo arthroscopic surgery tomorrow to repair a meniscus tear in his left knee.

The Dodgers will release more information following the procedure, but he’ll likely miss a few weeks at the very least. Ellis previously had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in the very same knee in October of 2012.
