UPDATE: Buster Posey is "under the weather" and has been removed from the startling lineup. Quillermo Quiroz will now start at catcher.


Coming off a three-game sweep at the hands of the Chicago Cubs and in need of a spark, the Giants recalled Brett Pill and Roger Kieschnick on Monday. Pill is in the lineup for the series opener with the Phillies. In 18 games in July at Fresno, Pill was hitting .356 with six home runs and 17 RBI.
