The Giants have bolstered their infield by agreeing to terms with veteran infielder Ryan Theriot.
Jon Heyman first reported the deal on his Twitter page. The one-year deal is reported to be for 1.25 million, plus 750K in incentives.
Comcast SportsNet's Jaymee Sire has confirmed the deal with the Giants, reporting it is a one-year, non-guaranteed Major League deal, pending a physical.
Theriot, 32, played last season with the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals. He hit .271 with a homer in 132 games for St. Louis. For his career, Theriot owns a .282 lifetime average over seven MLB seasons.
