INSIDE THE MATCHUP

- The Giants have won 10 of their last 13 games and will be looking to extend their current win streak to four in a row. San Francisco is 8-4 all-time against the Blue Jays, including a 3-3 mark in Toronto.

- The Blue Jays have won five of their last eight games after winning just five of their previous 20 contests. Toronto has won six of its last nine games in interleague play.

- Barry Zito, who has allowed one earned run or less in six of his seven starts this season, has 20 career losses in interleague play -- the second-most all-time (Derek Lowe, 23).

- R.A. Dickey is 0-3 with a 5.76 ERA in his last four starts and is 0-1 with a 4.05 ERA in three career starts against San Francisco.

- Marco Scutaro is hitting .479 with five doubles, two triples, one homer and 11 runs during his current 12-game hitting streak -- tied for the longest active hitting streak in the majors (Joe Mauer and Matt Kemp).

-Melky Cabrera will be facing his former team for the first time since signing as a free agent with Toronto in the offseason. Cabrera is hitting just .125 (2-for-16) in his last four games after hitting .556 (10-for-18) in his previous four contests.
