Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford is out of the starting lineup for the second straight game against the visiting Miami Marlins.

Crawford's absence from the lineup is the result of a finger injury he sustained while sliding into second base on a stealing attempt in Tuesday's game against the San Diego Padres.

Additionally, Hector Sanchez bat fifth and be catching Tim Lincecum while Buster Posey makes the move over to first base.
