Angel Pagan hasn't yet played a game with his new team, but that isn't stopping from feeling good about his new role as the Giants' leadoff hitter in the NL West.

"I'm very, very confident that this is the team to beat." Pagan told the San Francisco Chronicle.

"We have what we needed," the speedster continued. "We have speed. We have power. We have the pitching. We have everything. We have a very balanced team, and it seems like everybody gets along well."

Are you buying it? After finishing eight games behind the Diamondbacks last year, is San Francisco the team to beat in the NL West going into 2012?
