Left-handed reliever Jeremy Affeldt will return to the Giants on a three-year contract, according to a CBSSports.com report.

Jon Heyman reports that the veteran pitcher will receive a deal that will be worth around 18 million over the three years.

The Dodgers recently gave reliever Brandon League a three-year deal worth 22.5 million.

Affeldt didn't allow a run in 10 13 innings during the Giants' postseason run and posted a 2.70 ERA over 63 13 innings over the regular season.
