The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to terms with right-handed starter Bronson Arroyo, according to a FOX Sports report.

Reports indicated that it came down to two teams -- the Diamondbacks and Dodgers.

Arroyo, 36, was 14-12 in his eighth season with the Reds, compiling a 3.79 ERA over 32 starts.

A pillar of consistency, the All-Star has exceeded 200 innings pitched in eight of the past nine seasons (he pitched 199 innings in the ninth season).

Arroyo joins what Giants Insider Andrew Baggarly has deemed the No. 3-ranked pitching staff in the NL West.

Arroyo joins a rotation that includes All-Star lefties Patrick Corbin and Wade Miley and former A's righties Trevor Cahill and Brandon McCarthy.
