Report: Giants agree to terms with second-rounder

The Giants have agreed to terms with second-round pick Aramis Garcia, according to a report from Perfect Game USA.

The 21-year-old will receive $1.07 million, the slotted value for his selection.

Garcia, a 6-foot-2 catcher out of Florida International, is coming off a strong junior season in which he hit .368 with eight home runs.

The Florida native attended high school at Pines Charter High School in Pembroke Pines, Fla. He was drafted in the 20th round in 2011 by the Cardinals.
