2010 postseason hero Cody Ross and the Giants aren't ready to part ways just yet.
At the Winter Meetings, Brian Sabean said that he is still open minded regarding Ross. However, the Giants' GM also said the "window was closing" to bring him back.
When reached by text message, Ross responded: "The Giants are my number one choice."

Andrew Baggarly was told Ross would not come back to San Francisco on a one-year deal, preferring a more hitter-friendly home ballpark if he can't get a two-year deal or more.
During the Giants' run to the World Series title in 2010, Ross hit .294 with five home runs and 10 RBIs and won the NLCS MVP award.
However, Ross hit just .240 with 14 home runs for the Giants last season.
