But deportation?Thats what MLB analyst Rick Sutcliffe said shouldhappen on ESPN 98.7 FM in New York on Monday in the wake of Cabreras50-game suspension.Sutcliffe:
"First of all,this guy is over here in the UnitedStates on a working visa. He broke the law.What's he doing still here? I mean, forget the 50-game suspension from baseballand whether he can come back if they make the players or not. Why's hestill here? That visa should be taken away, and he should not beallowed to play over here again, or work over here again, in my opinion." It is possible Cabrerawill indeed face further punishment, as a federal investigation is reportedlyunderway. Cabrera, 28, is from the Dominican Republic.
