Giants starters have been decent at best this season. Can San Francisco emerge from a tightly-packed division without its traditional strength?
Tim Lincecum struck out eight, but the was tagged for four runs and the Giants failed to score, ceding first place in the NL West to the Rockies.
Santiago Casilla will miss at least the next two weeks, and the Giants need to make an important decision that could keep him out longer.
