The Giants placed Ryan Vogelsong and Santiago Casilla on the disabled list and recalled Brett Pill and Sandy Rosario from Fresno.
After five innings of three-hit shutout ball Monday, it looked like Ryan Vogelsong was getting back on track. But then disaster struck.
Brandon Belt had four hits as the Giants dominated the Nationals 8-0, but Ryan Vogelsong's night ended early after being hit by a pitch.
