UPDATE (2:30) -- DeMarcus Cousins took to social media to let his followers know that he is "fine."
Thanks for all the concern, I'm fine— DeMarcus Cousins (@boogiecousins) August 14, 2014
DeMarcus Cousins reportedly sustained a right knee injury during USA Basketball's practice in Chicago Thursday afternoon.
According to Yahoo's Marc Spears, Rudy Gay talked to Cousins as he limped out of practice and thinks his Sacramento Kings teammate will be OK.
Rudy Gay on Kings & USA teammate D. Cousins: "I talked to him on the way out. I think he'll be OK. I hope he's just being a drama queen."— Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) August 14, 2014
Gay was added to the training camp roster after Paul George broke his leg and Kevin Durant withdrew from the roster.
Cousins and Gay are two of 16 finalists competing for spots on the 12-man roster.
Cousins will reportedly undergo an MRI and miss Team USA's exhibition against Brazil on Saturday.
