Kings president of basketball operations Geoff Petrie announced Monday the team has acquired forward James Johnson from the Toronto Raptors. Were excited to add a talent like James to our young nucleus of players. Hes an outstanding defender with athleticism who can play at both positions up front while providing some versatility offensively and adding a dimension to what we can do on the floor. The Kings traded a second-round pick in 2014 for the 6-9, 245 lb Johnson, who set career-highs in points (9.1), rebounds (4.7) and minutes per game (26.9) with Toronto last season.RELATED: James Johnson 2011-2012 game logs
