The Sacramento Kings announced Sunday that rookie forward Eric Moreland underwent successful surgery Saturday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Arthur Ting in Fremont, California, after an initial consultation with Kaiser Permanente.

He will begin rehabilitation immediately and should be ready for NBA Summer League play.

The 6-10 forward totaled two points (1-1 FG) and one rebound in two minutes off the bench in three games with the Kings this season. He averaged 13.7 points (.592 field-goal percentage), 12.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in seven contests with the Reno Bighorns.
