Now that ownership of the Kings has officially been transfered to Vivek Ranadive and his group of investors, the Kings can unveil their new coach.

Michael Malone will be introduced as the new head coach of the Kings at a press conference at Sleep Train Arena on Monday at 1:30 p.m. PT.

The former Warriors assistant will become the 25th coach in the history of the Kings. He will be tasked with the job of trying to rebuild the Kings, who finished the 2012-13 season with a 28-54 record, third worst in the Western Conference.

The Kings hold the seventh pick in the NBA Draft, which takes place on Thursday, June 27.
