Former Jazz head coach Tyrone Corbin will join Michael Malone's staff as the Kings' top assistant coach, according to a report.

After three plus seasons at the helm in Utah, Corbin was not retained last month and replaced by Quinn Snyder.

He spent the previous six plus seasons as an assistant to Jerry Sloan and took over when the legendary head coach resigned during the 2010-11 campaign.

Corbin appeared in 49 games for the Kings during the 1995-96 season, and played the penultimate season (1999-00) of his career in Sacramento, averaging 4.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
