The Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns are finalizing a sign-and-trade deal for restricted free agent Isaiah Thomas, according to a Yahoo! Sports report:

The Kings will receive center Alex Oriakhi, a 2013 second-round selection that played his college ball at Connecticut and Missouri, along with a $7 million trade exception.

Thomas acknowledged the deal on Twitter.

Thomas, 25, was drafted by the Kings in the second round in 2011 out of the University of Washington.

He played three seasons in Sacramento, averaging 15.3 points, 1.2 steals, 5.9 assists and 3.1 total rebounds per game over that time.

A trade from Sacramento to Phoenix would keep Thomas within the Western Conference's Pacific division.
