Huskies hand Stanford 76-63 loss

SEATTLE --Tony Wroten scored 21 points and Terrence Ross added 18 as Washington overwhelmed Stanford in the second half, pulling away for a 76-63 win on Saturday.Washington coach Lorenzo Romar earned his 300th career victory and 100th conference win at Washington.The Huskies (12-7, 5-2 Pac-12), who bounced back from Thursday's three-point home loss to California, remained one of four teams with two conference losses. The Golden Bears lost to Washington State on Saturday, helping the other conference contenders.Washington ran away midway through the second half on the strength of a 20-3 run that included 13 straight points. Stanford never figured out how to stop Wroten from going to his strong hand, and the freshman exploited the Cardinal defense. He made five straight shots in the second half.Josh Owens led Stanford (15-5, 5-3) with 14 points.
